perfect weekend in salt lake city, utah
we had the best time in utah last week ! was so nice to getaway for a fun + chill weekend together. lots of questions about why salt lake but it really was just a place weβd heard good things about and always wanted to see for ourselves. reminded me a lot of anchorage and denver and was overall just a very chill type of city. we ate we drank we shopped we explored and we slept β pretty much perfect. some of my favorite vintage shops, coffee spots and cocktail bars below β
shopping
one of the best parts of the trip! so many great vintage shops + you know we couldnβt leave without saying hi to our faves at nords.
lonely ghost
iconic β if you donβt follow yet β they are a must @lonelyghost @indyblue_
moby thrift
my favorite by far! tiny little shop in provo but perfectly curated + loved the owner. i snatched one of the new diana tees and havenβt taken it off since. snoop his page @mobythrift
vantage
a larger shop with more variety + generic pieces β great levis, wrangler, carhartt etc.β right in slc! @vantageslc
nordstrom @ city creek center
canβt not go to nords. smaller but got a few things β lots of other indoor/outdoor shopping in the area as well (and a chik-fil-a hehe).
food + drink
these were some of the faves! there are a few that were just okay that I wonβt share β but we really enjoyed all of these below. will definitely be going back.
three pines
small and simple but a cute shop + great coffee. was right down the street from our hotel so we walked here in the mornings before heading around the city.
campos coffee
fave coffee + breakfast of the trip. was light, bright, + cute and had great coffee and amazing breakfast. love this for a breakfast/lunch work spot.
the robins nest
the perfect hangover sandwich lol. just a little deli in the middle of city perfect for grab and go β loved every bite.
lake effect
fun late-night cocktail bar β they had a live jazz-ish band playing and the place was so vibey. we hung out at a bar table most of the night and made it downstairs for about 30 seconds (more club like lol) β but overall loved the space + people watching.
taco taco
stopped here on our last day! was starving so probably why it was so good but loved my tacos. sat outside on their mini patio and sipped on margs before our flight β very casual but a cute little ending to the trip.
fisher brewing
a very cool old-school feel with a huge patio and a food truck out front. loved the atmosphere and beer!
something we learned on this trip β utah cannot tap anything over 5% so most beers were poured out of cans + bottles. a little annoying for wanting to sample new beers, but what can ya do β still loved some of the breweries here.
t.f. brewing
our other favorite beer spot! a very chic spot + decor and amazing outdoor space with fire pits. I could hang here allll day and work. they feature food trucks as well along side their pretzels and charcuterie boards. a must try in slc!
park city
took a little day trip β was honestly so close β and explored a bit! canβt wait to come back in the winter and spend more time here. such a cute + fun little town.
protein foundry
perfect stop on the way into or out of town β toast + aΓ§aΓ bowls + smoothies β super yum and healthy options.
harvest
cute little cafe on main street -- we got more toast lol + the rest of the menu looked amazing. love this for a quick coffee + breakfast stop.
main street
adorable + beautiful views. and actually quite a few really cute clothing shops that werenβt super touristy. loved just hanging out and wandering around.
pc hill
at the end of our day here we took a quick hike up to the top of pc hill β short + pretty easy hike with great views over both sides fo the mountain! perfect for our day trip and super quiet.
places we didnβt have time for that I want to try next trip β
chip cookies
zest kitchen - vegan
evaβs bakery
beehive distilling
bodega speakeasy
highwest distillery - park city
the museums + national parks !!
