the perfect fall wedding in talkeetna, alaska

best wedding ever! seriously. my baby brother got married (to the perfect human) in talkeetna, alaska this past weekend and it was truly the cutest, and most fun wedding i have ever been to. aesthetics were so on-point and the perfect fall weather pulled it all together. i thought i would share some of her decor, colors, and dress because if anyone is planning a fall wedding this one was beyond goals!

as the grooms family, we planned the rehearsal dinner and did a bit of the decor. our friend kate sourced these gorg white ferns for us to use as centerpieces and i threw together a quick custom menu design. it was so simple but it all came together so well.

an etsy win! we found this cute custom decal that came so quickly and had dad mount it on a piece of plexiglass bolted to a wood background. probably more work than he preferred hehe but turned out so gorg! perfect welcome sign for the dinner.

these marquee letters were so major in every way! we sourced them from alpha-lit anchorage and I would use them for every event if i could! they add so much to the space and elevate the decor just enough. we staged them at rehearsal and the reception and they looked amazing day and night!

kate and hannah again with the florals! her color scheme of ivory, reds and pinks was the perfect fall combo and look so chic together in the bridesmaid’s and bride’s bouquets.

still makes me cry! a little sneak peek from their first look photos. her dress was perfection—from the sequins to the dolman sleeves to the pinned up train, it was a dream fall wedding dress and the white popped so good against the trees!

absolutely my favorite scene from the weekend. the bride is a pilot so it was only fitting that they flew off in a float plane from the ceremony! cutest bride, best day.
