3 best at-home workouts
in a blog i wrote about my goals for the year, i shared one of my new favorite workouts, pilates! my bff paige got me hooked on my last trip to arizona so i signed up for an at-home subscription. iβve been loving that i can take the classes right from my living room, whenever i feel like it, and zero equipment is required. anyways, iβve been obsessing over the classes so much i thought i would share a little roundup of my 3 favorite at-home workout programs that iβve been trying out during quarantine β
like i said, obsessed. jacqui, the teacher, has the best energy that is so positive! like lots of good energy but not too in your face if that makes sense. thereβs a huge variety of classes and i love so many of them. she has cardio-focused classes, barre-inspired, grounding sessions, slow burns, yoga, ab blasters, morning energy boosts, bedtime stretches β the list goes on! my favorite way to really get into it is using one of her weekly challenges or planners! she maps out the whole week for you so you donβt have to think about a thing. i just wrapped up the january challenge and it has been sooo worth the subscription price ($29/month). my #1 recommendation!
one of my all-time faves! when the studio shut down last year we started trying the orange theory youtube classes in the living room. they post new ones daily and i really enjoy them! they can be a little tough to figure out if you donβt have basic weights (i just used wine bottles) but they are honestly still a great workout. with different instructors and new classes daily its the perfect (free) class to bring a little variety to my routine, especially without the in-studio price tag.
iβve been using this for years! itβs the perfect push to get me outside in these freezing temps. they offer guided runs, interval trainings, and even half-marathon plans that iβve used in the past and loved! we have a little 3 mile loop from the house that iβve been doing just to get some fresh air, get my legs moving, and add a little cardio to my routine.
itβs usually tough for me to stay motivated in the winter but these 3 workouts have been my saving grace throughout quarantine!
